How To Find Your MAC Address
APPLE MAC OS
- From the Apple menu, select System Preferences....
- In System Preferences, from the View menu, select Network.
- In the left of the "Network" window that opens, click the name of your connection (e.g., Wi-Fi, AirPort, Ethernet, Built-in Ethernet).
- Click Advanced..., and in the sheet that appears, click the Hardware, Ethernet, or AirPort tab.
APPLE IOS (IPHONE, IPAD)
- Open the Settings application.
- From the list of setting categories, select General.
- From the list of general settings, select About.
- The MAC address is the value labeled Wi-Fi Address.
- Leave the Settings application.
ANDROID
- Open the Settings application.
- From the list of setting categories, select About phone. (This category might be named something else, for example, About tablet.)
- From the list of choices, select Hardware information. On some versions of Android, you may instead need to choose Status.
- the MAC address is the value labeled Wi-Fi MAC Address.
- Leave the Settings application.
WINDOWS 7/10
- Click the Start button.
- In the Run text box, type cmd. This will open the command window.
- At the command prompt, type ipconfig /all.
- Copy down the "Physical Address" (aka the MAC address) from the "Ethernet adapter Wireless Network Connection" section.
- Close the command prompt window.
