Copy and paste functionality is available through both the VMWare Horizon Client and HTML versions. Copy and paste will only allow you to copy from your computer and paste into an application within Horizon. By default, this functionality is enabled for the VMWare Horizon Client. To enable copy and paste while using the HTML version; see steps below.

If you are using a Windows computer:

1. Open the application you wish to work in through Horizon.
2. Click on the Side Bar tab.
3. Click on the Copy/Paste button at the top (2nd from the right).
4. To copy, highlight the text. Press Ctrl + C or right-click and select copy.
5. To paste, click on the space inside of the Horizon application. Press Ctrl + V.

If you are using a Mac computer:

1. Click on the Settings Icon on the main Horizon page
2. Ensure that the 'Command A,C,V and X' setting is enabled.
3. Open the application you wish to work in through Horizon.
4. Click on the Side Bar tab.
5. Click on the Copy/Paste button at the top (2nd from the right).
6. To copy, highlight the text. Press Command + C or right-click and select copy.
7. To paste, click on the space inside of the Horizon application. Press Command + V.
